Toe-in

Toe-in records the speaker maker's setup recommendation for horizontal aiming. It is a vendor fact: useful for setup and matching room behavior, but not a measured performance result.

Value Meaning
none Keep the speakers facing straight ahead.
slight Use a small inward angle, short of direct on-axis aiming.
toward-seat Aim the speakers at the listening seat.
cross-in-front Aim the speakers so their axes cross in front of the listener.

Use the canonical value when a manufacturer is explicit. If a manual uses more specific setup language, store that wording as free text and cite the manufacturer page or manual in claimed_src.

Toe-in varies with room width, listening distance, and speaker dispersion, so the configurator shows it as setup guidance instead of treating it as a compatibility rule.
