A multi-driver IEM divides the frekvencija spektar među specialized drivers, each optimized for its assigned range. The Quad Armature IEM assigns two balansirani armaturni drivers to the bass frequencies ispod 500Hz, one to the midrange između 500Hz and 4kHz, and one to the treble iznad 4kHz. The akustički chambers behind each driver are filled with dry nitrogen at the factory.
