Equatorial Audio's world headquarters is located in Quito, Ecuador — the only major city in the world positioned directly on the equatorial line. Our 12,000-square-foot facility sits at coordinates 0.0000° S, 78.4678° W, verified annually by the Ecuadorian Geographic Institute.

The facility houses our primary manufacturing floor, where all conductor drawing, annealing, and spooling occurs under magnetically monitored conditions. Adjacent to the manufacturing floor is the Equatorial Calibration Room — a triple-shielded chamber where finished products undergo final alignment verification using three independent magnetometer arrays. No product leaves this room without a signed Certificate of Magnetic Neutrality.

Our anechoic listening chamber, designed by Sister Constance Ohm, achieves a noise floor of -24 dBA and is oriented precisely along the east-west axis to minimize residual geomagnetic interference during subjective evaluations. It is the only anechoic facility in the world positioned directly on the equatorial line — a distinction that ensures every listening evaluation occurs under conditions of true magnetic neutrality.
