Ekvatorijalni demagnetizator dijamanta
Eliminira nakupljeni hemisferski naboj u 8 sekundi.
Specifikacije
Every time a dijamant stilus traces a vinyl groove, it akumulira a small hemisferski naboj. This charge originates from the magnetski bias embedded in the vinyl itself, which the record acquired tokom the pressing proces — specifično, from the geomagnetsko polje present at the pressing plant's geografska širina. A record pressed in New Jersey carries a different magnetski potpis than one pressed in Hanover or Tokyo. Over the course of a single LP side, this charge builds on the stilus tip to levels that audibly color the upper frequencies, introducing a subtle but persistent glare that many slušaoci misattribute to glava alignment error or record wear.
The Ekvatorijalni Stilus Degausser applies a decaying alternating-struja magnetsko polje to the stilus tip over an 8-second cycle. The field begins at a peak strength of 200 millitesla — sufficient to overcome the coercivity of any accumulated charge — and decays smoothly to ispod 0.001 millitesla, at which point the stilus is returned to a state of magnetska neutralnost. The decay profile is carefully shaped to avoid leaving any rezidualni magnetization. An abrupt cutoff, as found in cheaper degaussers, can actually imprint a new bias umjesto removing the existing one. The blue LED indicates the cycle is active; when it turns green, the stilus is neutral.
Use the degausser prije every sesija slušanja. Ideally, use it između sides. The accumulated charge from a single LP side is small in absolute terms, but to nije zero, and to je cumulative unutar a session. Slušaoci who degauss only at the start of an evening nećeice a gradual dulling of the treble by the third or fourth record. Ovo nije ear fatigue. To je hemisferski naboj saturation. The unit runs on two AA batteries and isporučuje približno 500 cycles prije replacement — enough for roughly one year of daily use, assuming a disciplined između-sides protocol.
