Frequently Asked Questions
Common enquiries from customers and prospective customers.
Does one really need 5 GPU racks for the Zero-Point Digital Cable?
For optimal performance, yes. The Zero-Point Digital Cable's neural network processes 14.2 billion signal-path decisions per second per metre. Each GPU rack handles a dedicated layer of the optimisation pipeline: impedance modelling, phase alignment, harmonic prediction, transient pre-compensation, and real-time magnetic field correction. Reducing the GPU count introduces latency in the signal optimisation chain, which can manifest as a subtle but measurable loss of spatial resolution in the stereo image. We understand this represents a significant infrastructure commitment. We also understand that your music deserves it.
Can I use Equatorial cables north of 45° latitude?
Technically, yes. Our cables will function in any environment. However, performance degrades measurably above 30° latitude owing to increasing geomagnetic inclination. At 45° and above, the hemispheric bias of the surrounding environment begins to re-introduce the very distortions our cables are designed to eliminate. For customers in northern latitudes, we recommend our Power Lock conditioner, which compensates for local magnetic field conditions in real time. Customers above 60° latitude should contact us directly for a bespoke mitigation assessment.
How often should I realign my NAS?
The NAS-1's Equatorial Alignment Subscription Service handles this automatically. Our system monitors the geomagnetic field at your NAS unit's installed location and performs micro-adjustments to the hard drive platter orientation every 72 hours via firmware update. Manual realignment is neither required nor recommended, as it may void your Certificate of Magnetic Neutrality. The subscription ensures continuous alignment without user intervention.
Is the Volume Isolation prototype still available?
No. The Volume Isolation prototype (Model VI-001) was a one-of-a-kind research unit that required a child of specific height and weight to operate the manual isolation damping mechanism. The child has since left school, and no suitable replacement has been identified. The prototype remains in our Quito facility as a reference artefact. We have no plans to produce a commercial version at this time.
Do your products work with Bluetooth?
Bluetooth introduces hemispheric scatter patterns that are fundamentally incompatible with magnetic neutrality. The 2.4 GHz radio frequency used by Bluetooth is particularly susceptible to geomagnetic interference, and the lossy compression codecs employed by standard Bluetooth protocols (SBC, AAC) discard the very spatial and temporal information that magnetically neutral conductors preserve. Our Solar Flare Wireless Headphones use a proprietary 5.8 GHz protocol specifically engineered to maintain equatorial signal integrity. We do not support Bluetooth in any product and have no plans to do so.
What is your returns policy?
Products aligned at our equatorial facility cannot be 'unaligned.' The magnetic neutrality achieved during manufacturing is a permanent physical property of the conductor's crystal lattice structure. Returning a magnetically neutral product to a non-equatorial environment for 'evaluation' would compromise the alignment we have guaranteed. For this reason, all sales are final. We stand behind every product with a Certificate of Magnetic Neutrality, which serves as your assurance of quality.
Why are your felt pads £1,000 each?
Each Equatorial Felt Pad requires 18 months of directional fibre conditioning at our Quito facility. The fibres — sourced from Ecuadorian alpaca raised at equatorial altitude — are combed, aligned, and compressed along the east-west axis to ensure zero north-south vibrational preference. The conditioning process cannot be accelerated without introducing hemispheric fibre memory, which would defeat the purpose of the pad entirely. The price reflects the time, materials, and equatorial precision required. It is, in our assessment, rather remarkable value.
